Won't load up on my kid's tablet

My son has Minecraft on his Amazon fire tablet. Up until a few days ago, it worked just fine. We were able to play together in seeds and realms, him on the tablet and me on the Xbox. Now, every time he opens it up, we get this message. We have tried everything it suggested and then some. The only thing we haven't tried is uninstalling it, which almost sent him into a meltdown when I suggested it (he is autistic, so the suggestion felt final to him). Any suggestions?
