Basically title. I got the urge to delve back into the depths again after a few years, and my experience playing it on switch is bad. Not unplayable, but frustratingly bad. Like, I'm regularly having blocks not update after I break them for up to 15-20 seconds, and if I walk at normal speed in one direction for long enough it's failing to load chunks fast enough to keep up. And having done some googling, I did the sort of things suggested by other people for playing Minecraft on switch (have it loaded into onboard storage, etc.)
Wondering if there was something special causing problems on the new world I made, I loaded up an old world from the last time I played (pre-caverns update) that ran fine, and I'm having these problems there too now. And that was a realms world that I previously played with other folks on, so presumably there was a lot more going on there.
Did the caverns updates kill switch performance or something? I'm just shocked at how bad this game plays for me now.
