I was thinking about the more player models mod, and left 4 dead versus mode, and I thought, why not combine the two? What if there were a minecraft server where you play as either a human or a hostile mob, and you have that mob's abilities. To play as a skeleton you would have a bow, creeper would have the power to explode, zombies would do melee, endermen could teleport and pick up blocks, and spiders could climb and have increased jump height. Just like in single player, if you spawn as a mob, you could have the chance of spawning with armor and maybe a weapon if you're a zombie. There would be npc zombies everywhere to fill in where players aren't, and I just think it would be rreally cool. There could maybe even be campaigns like in left 4 dead where you go through levels, killing mobs to reach a goal, upgrading your equipment along the way. Lastly, the player controlled mobs would have to be slightly harder to kill just to make things more fair. PM me if you're interested in coding the mod/plugin, would like to help build campaigns, or want to help run the server. The subreddit for this is /r/playervsmobs
