Hello /r/Minecraft. I'd like to present to you my server idea.
Well I think you all heard about the closed wall experiment. 30 players were living together in a 350×350 area limited by bedrock walls (and limited resources) they've found guilds and were fighting each other. Well I'd like to renew that concept but with some ideas. Map: 1000×1000 Blocks 120 Players Tree farms/Cobblestone Gen. are not allowed (to add the limited resource feel) Plugins: A time plugin (i'll explain it later in this post) Some plugins for admins to be invisible Death ban
Well the chosen players, they start playing and have fun. They can create nations (if there is group of 3 - 5 players) and recruit new members. At this point,I'd like to add some interesting stuff into it.Politics.When somebody creates a nation he needs fo fill out an app, where he/she writes down: Name of the nation: peaceful/militaristic: "Kind of government" (amount of people considered as leaders) amount of members: Though only nation leaders and the Admins know thia information,to prevent it from having a negative influence on other players. Every sunday the nation members need to tell the Admins how many people joine their nation or left (or died in a war f.e).Nations are allowed to have a forum or a skype conversation f.e.
So the game will go on until the last player died.- The admins have a job of writing every major event down and take screenshots of battles etc (screens are not necessary though). The time plugin is for them,so they can write down something like " Ingame year 4 - Nation X was created (militaristic,4)" At the end of the game there would be a timeline. It could look like this: "Ingame year 0 - World ABC was created (…) Results of first decade Nation X ( Militaristic/5) 30 Members Nation Y (peacefull/2) 20 Members (…) Dead players : 10 (…) [Ingame year 51: Pre World War era] 51 : Revolution in Nation Y due to lack of resources -> Militaristic dictatorship 52: Nation Y declares war on Nation X (…) 53: Last player died
I think this is a very interesting subject to those who are interested in politics and documenting stuff. It's very interesting to find out which idiology is prefered - taking everything over or maybe creating peace? After the game the results (timeline screenshots) would be posted on reddit for other people to check out and maybe compare it with their opinion
Hope you liked my idea. If you would like to change anything,I'm open to any suggwstion.
