Economy Mods with Minecolonies
Post Body

My only issue with Minecolonies is that the only purpose for growing your city is for the sake of growing the city. Once you reach the point of automated construction (resource gathering, carpenter, stone mason, etc. all built) there is no goal beyond extravagance. So I would like something to make the colony worth building upon and making more efficient. The only two ways I can think of are to make an army to attack other colonies/bosses with or to setup some kind of trade and economy in the world. The former of which I don't think fits Minecolonies too well so is not the route I want to go (but I am open to try if something like that exists). Trade happens somewhat naturally with large enough multiplayer servers but even that is very rare since every colony can be made self-sufficient and isn't exactly a feature.

Anyone know of any companion mods that allow for an economy and trade to be setup? Specifically for single player worlds. I would love for Minecolonies to have markets and traveling merchants but that is a huge ask.

Edit: Had an idea

A quest book mod that has you building a colony for the mainland. It would walk you through setting up your colony, gathering large amounts of goods to ship back, expanding and growing the colony, then amassing a large wealth. That sounds like a lot of fun to me!

QUICK! Does anyone know if there are any Minecolonies quest mod packs? I want to look into this and see how hard making a quest line is.
