Upgrading Town Hall

So when i first started minecolonies, I made the town hall my home base, I figured it was practical. I noticed though that when originally repairing it, the builder removed any extra blocks, so now Iām concerned that if I upgrade it, that will once again happen. So I want to confirm, if I upgrade my town hall, will the builder remove the chests and extra blocks ive placed in it like stone cutter and bed?
