Not to toot our own horns but as a generation we are aging the most like fine wine. Even the crap tattoos.
Post Body

Seriously,

I know a lot of folks are out of shape but I feel like we hit the middle ground of being beautiful. I know I've looked better with age, letting the natural grays strip my hair. I don't know if I'm verbalizing myself correctly. Are we using less make up and filler or something?

Also does anyonelse still wear the terrible just turned 18 and choose something out of a book and looks like trash? Probably $50.00. It's a running joke with my Chinese tattoo that you can't help but laugh at how dumb you still are but pretend to be an adult.

I am glad gen z is drinking less. That's a major accomplishment and am proud. I probably wouldn't have gotten the tattoos otherwise. 8 months sober.

Tl;Dr, I'm high and rambling.

Lol. My parents (boomers/Gen x) - drink booze, refuse to eat vegetables, refuse to drink water, refuse to use sunscreen (I fry like a ginger, I think I'd keep on using my mineral sunscreen and not cook in the sun, thanks) and refuse to eat anything that isn't slathered in oil.

Meanwhile, I workout several days a week, drink mostly water, occasionally have a caffeine habit, eat mostly high protein/low carb and try to use sunscreen when going out of the house.

And my parents wonder why I look better and feel better than they do even after a bout with cancer and dealing with PCOS/ENDOMETRIOSIS. (Yes, the cleaner eating helped tame that dragon.)

My tattoos still look good (thank you sunscreen and good artists) and just taking care of them.

I am but it's frustrating because they constantly complain because they refuse to do anything for their bodies and mental health. People age but they refuse to do anything like exercise or eat well (the 80/20 rule is my favourite). You don't have to cut out all the junk. If I don't eat well (whole foods, loads of veggies) I feel and perform like crap.

I'm not having kids because the economy and the fact that I'm a lesbian with reproductive issues (yay PCOS and endometriosis) and my mum was/is emotionally abusive.
