I've noticed a lot of adults don't seem to like the beach. They only spend an afternoon at the beach for their young children.

Have you noticed this? Do you think this is the case?

The last couple of summers when I've been at various beaches, most of the people were about 20 or younger. I love the beach, despite being a millennial. Why do some adults seem to think the beach is boring or childish? If adults don't really like the beach, was this the case 10 or 20 years ago, or just something that happened in the last few years?
