Does anyone know where to find the information needed from DFAS? I know how to do the High 3 calculator online but every time I try calling DFAS for the other information required I get bounced around on the phone. My deadline to submit the court ordered agreement is within two weeks and Iโ€™ve been divorced for almost one year now. Iโ€™m still on active duty and any help would be very appreciated

From a lawyer-This is how the High -3 Formula is defined: The High -3 formula for retired pay is 2.5% multiplied by the years of creditable service (the retired pay multiplier) multiplied by the average of the highest 36 months of compensation(the retired pay base). The ServiceMember must request the specific high three months needed from the retired pay center. What we are calculating is the "hypothetical award"of the military pension based on a specific rank, number of years of service and hypothetical pay base on the date of the divorce.
