My 19 year old daughter married her marine a few days before he shipped out to Japan. The plan was he would do everything necessary to get her out there with him asap. He began receiving her living allowance 2 months in,but hasn't sent her any of it. As of a few days ago he quit answering her calls, and messages. Tonight he answered a call from her,and said " don't come for me,or ruin my career." Welp, she put her whole life on hold waiting for this move to happen. Postpones collage, changed her last name, expedited her passport, and has been living at home waiting for him to provide health insurance ( he hasn't) and support ( living cost) while she waits. He's getting the money, and pocketing it. Is that illegal? Fraud? Abandonment? Do I need a lawyer?
