Is it illegal to own a WW2 victory medal? I saw one at a military base with my brother and I'm a huge history buff, specially related to WW2 so I ask him if he could buy it for me, but the guy at the duty shop inside the base told us that he can't buy it because he hasn't 'earned it' yet (lol I don't think he saw the date they where giving those out)
Anyways long story short I'm thinking of just ordering one in Amazon so I can collect it and admire it. Maybe even get the pacific theater and european theater medals if I'm allowed too but I just want to know from actually military personnel before I go crazy collecting.
