Hello all,
I am 27 and a teacher but, have always wanted to serve my country. I suppressed during my few years in education but, it's been nagging at me the last three. I plan to enlist and go off to bmt next summer and go to tech school during the beginning of the school year and then return to teaching while doing the weekend duty, etc. Is this a worth while move? I'll be going in as an A1C because of my education and. The officer route is closed due the non-need for officers currently. I don't mind nor do I care, just want to serve. What rank in six years of reserves service can I expect to get out as? Just a curious question. Thank you all.
