Post Body

Iā€™ve looked into this what feels like a thousand times. There are programs the DOD has implemented that are supposed to ā€œhelpā€. Several service members I know personally swear up and down that itā€™s ā€œnot a problemā€ and that these programs help. But when I hear stories from actual men and women whoā€™ve experienced the assault tell a different story. Some whoā€™ve experienced it repeatedly say ā€œyou get one ā€˜get out of jail free cardā€™ and after that, thatā€™s itā€

Iā€™m using this subreddit to get accurate information for a book Iā€™m writing on the topic, so Iā€™m sorry if this is overstepping for some people. I really just want to be completely accurate and have a general consensus of what is right and what is wrong.
