Iāve looked into this what feels like a thousand times. There are programs the DOD has implemented that are supposed to āhelpā. Several service members I know personally swear up and down that itās ānot a problemā and that these programs help. But when I hear stories from actual men and women whoāve experienced the assault tell a different story. Some whoāve experienced it repeatedly say āyou get one āget out of jail free cardā and after that, thatās itā
Iām using this subreddit to get accurate information for a book Iām writing on the topic, so Iām sorry if this is overstepping for some people. I really just want to be completely accurate and have a general consensus of what is right and what is wrong.
