With lots of negativity being around I wanted to source some opinions on my thinking: USA military is the strongest in the world it’s ever been.

Supportive arguments:

Russia military is absolute shit show and can be stopped by Ukraine and continue to be bog down there for years leading to further weakening.

China is growing but nowhere near the aggressiveness of Soviets during Cold War which had half of Europe, fought multiple proxy wars and had more nuclear warheads than USA.

Middle East, Iran can launch rockets but can’t land them on enemy territory. Israel (keeping morality of the war aside) is able to destroy Hamas with minimal losses.

Europe due to threat from Russia is starting to invest in military again and given we are close allies it would allow USA to increase pressure in Middle East and Asia.

To clarify I mean this in comparative way. The strongest against the current and near future enemies. Not the strongest in absolute numbers.
