I found this DDR mast flag at a secondhand store for 10€ its 3mx1m and its a bit ripped at the top. (Pic3)

My doubts: At first it looks like a belgium flag sewd with emblem. I already saw such a like flags on the internet but Normaly on such big flags the colours shound go vertical and not horizontal. The symbol is bad sewed like the stiches arent in one straight line, on the other side we got 2 lines of stiches(pic5-7), on some places the stiches are not even on the emblem (pic9). The emblem and flags materials are different but its a preatty comon. Any thoughs??
