Hi all!

Just got a set of the Miele washer and dryers (both models are 1 step down from the top of the line).

Curious what settings you guys are using for the W1 and T1. We are a family of 5 and wash a medium load every night.

I’m also trying to figure out what’s the difference between soft steam and smoothing. They seem identical from Miele YouTube videos.

I would like to have the T1 run the steam option every cycle so I don’t have to empty the condenser as often and also I like to have wrinkle free clothes. But I’m not sure how to do this yet. I’m currently just doing normal mode. If I selected the soft steam, would it dry the clothes as normal then run the soft steam cycle afterwards? Or do I have to run it on normal to dry the clothes and then manually switch to soft steam?

Also should I be adding the freshen up and anti crease options on every cycle?
