Ok so bare with me as I only played my first two games today with a lot of guidance.
I personally normally play Star Wars legion, crisis protocol etc which are both a lot fluffier rules wise in comparison to GW games.
That being said the one thing I can’t stand about MESBG is that inevitably it’s just a pile of models on top of each other.
Now I understand I can’t just park archers and shoot all game even though I def prefer a more distance based shooty army. But every game I watch even the ones on YouTube and of course fish just seem to end in a pile.
Not sure I love that or will be able to reconcile that.
Thoughts to possibly make this more fun for myself etc? I understand the importance of control zones and being trapped etc. it just seems like at some point the game just inevitably devolves into that and only that.
Thank you in advance.
