Post Body

At this point we have saved over a million in our retirement, but still pretty much break even most months of you just look at our checking account.

So on paper wow lots of money, but can’t withdraw it till retirement so effectively we aren’t from day to day.

It just feels so weird like I have enough to go buy a lake house, but still can’t go out to eat very often.

'Net Worth Millionaire'....I'd advise you to take it easy and enjoy something.

I guess this depends on OP's plans and how early he wants to retire, if he would wait 20 years and still puts in $500/month at a very conservative 5% he would have 3 million. He's put his dollar bills to work and they will continue to work for him, putting his petal to the medal and not enjoying his income is probably not optimal.

As opposed to a liquid millionaire who has a million dollars easily accessible
