Question about "away" status on teams/mobile?

Hi all, like many of us, my job monitors us through Teams. But, sometimes I log in during sporadically throughout the evening (on mobile) to check my messages and mentally organize what to do the next day.

It shows up as available whenever I open the app, and sometimes coworkers will message me thinking I am working. So, I started setting my status to "away". When I do this. Does anyone know if my "last seen" time is? Is it when I last set it to away, or is it whenever I check in again (even if my status was set to away previously). If that makes sense.
