Guest access ms team sign in error

I gave guest access to a user outside our organization to one of the teams in ms teams. The guest user organization does not has azure tenant.
The guest user use the ms team link from the invitation to teams email to login to teams
However from time to time the guest user cannot login to teams and has to clear the browser cache and cookie in order to login successful again. Why is it so?
