I signed up for a hotmail account about 28 years ago. Over the years, it became increasingly slow as they bogged it down with useless features I didn't want. Whatever, it was a free email account.
However, for several days now, I just can't log in.
I type "www.hotmail.com" and it redirects me to the obnoxious microsoft page as it always does. (Used to just go directly to the login, but whatever.) I click sign in, and instead of opening it in the same tab like it used to, it opens the "Sign in to Outlook" page in a new tab. That just started a few days ago; no idea why. I enter my email address and click "Next." I enter my password, click "Sign in" and then instead of logging me in, it just redirects back to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/outlook/email-and-calendar-software-microsoft-outlook, where I started.
WTF?
I'm using firefox on a linux system.
Any idea what's up / how to fix?
