A320 NEO Auto Pilot bug?

I have the A320 NX mod and was doing a flight from KALB to KJFK.

Everything went normal (programmed flight via sim brief manually into MCDU all the way until approach/runway at JFK). I wait until ATC assigns me a expecting runway as I get closer.

So ATC assigned me my runway; I entered it into the MCDU and my NAV screen updated the runway as assigned (ILS 04 I want to say). However, as I assigned the runway, the plane made a complete turn directly towards JFK and flew right over the air port location itself, rather than ILS...I turned off AP as I noticed that I was no where near the assigned runway and manually landed on a different runway.

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?
