No mouse pointer in free flight

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE

I'm about to give up on this disaster Microsoft created. I can't get my mouse pointer to show up in game during free flight no matter what I do. I've tried full screen and windows mode. Yes my graphics card drivers are up to date. When I press the windows key I do get the curser, but I also get the box for windows 11 where your file folders are and apps. As soon as I click back on fs2024, mouse pointer is gone. I literally can't do anything in this game. Worst product Microsoft has ever made. Anyone have any suggestions before I give up on this complete failure of a game they tried to create?
