I hope someone sees my thanks here. For years, Chrome has had a bug that presented when in fullscreen mode on a Mac that caused it to push the entire web page (content and all) down when the auto hidden Mac menu came up.
For years, that thread has gotten upvotes and comments in the Chrome help forum. I asked in two places for Microsoft to fix that problem in Chromium based Edge and am happy to say they did.
Google also locked my issue page, so I can't tell those people, but thanks Microsoft.
I installed Edge, it grabbed all my Chrome extensions and even opened the Google tabs I had open. My MBP is significantly cooler now than when Chrome was running.
Edge, you have a new fulltime user.
Thanks for listening... Whether it was here, the AMA, or the twitter message, thanks. A shame this was obviously fixable and Google just wouldn't do it.
