Does blending high fiber vegetables have the same benefits on your friendly bacteria as if you were to eat them raw?
Post Body

I’ve decided the best way I can boost my plant/fiber intake for microbiome health is to just turn the plants into smoothies. I can still consume it raw that way and without all the bloating from digestion...

But will blending the vegetables somehow reduce the benefits? Because once I add liquid (to the vegetables while I blend it), I don’t see how there is much left to go actually go through my colon...

I mean to say that wouldn’t liquifying the vegetables cause most of the substance to bypass the gut since there’s not much left to be digested through the colon?
