I don't know if it is a microg problem perse, but the moderator from lineage redirected me to here

So here it is

So i've installed lineage 19.1 with microg a few months ago and I can see the contacts from the device or from my Google account but I never have been able to succeed to make it accessible to the different messaging apps. (Yes the permissions are of course granted)

I've also tried to export all my contacts from my google account (and apparently succeeded ) and then import it back to the device but still nothing in WhatsApp or signal or other messaging apps. I can create a contact from those apps and then it get registered on the device too and so I can see it then in the WhatsApp list for example but that's it.

Even for the calling app actually if I enter a number known from my contact list (the list I got from the sync with google and which is shown on the contacts tab) the calling app does not recognised it either. Any ideas about what I m doing wrong here ?
