so i am now a proud member of this community, holidays, obligations, the dues of life have had me pretty broke lately. i really wanted a micro, but alas the 350 was just out of my budget.
as a side hustle ill often buy and sell online. and a week ago i noticed a microfreak up for sale. it looked like it was new but the description said it did not turn on, and they could hear something rattling inside. i watched a few vids and it looked like taking it apart wasn't all that difficult, so i paid the 75$ and bought it.
yesterday it came, i immediately opened it and no surprise looked as good as pictured. it didnt include a power cable and i figured it didnt work so it sat there, assuming i had some work ahead of me.
last night around 1am i said why not, plugged my firewire in, switched the on switch and....
it loaded right up without a hiccup. so far everything has worked, and the only loose noise i could hear was probably one of the clicky buttons wiggling just a bit. i have not tried the dc 12v , but its like new, even came with box and reg. card.
so idk , its really nice when life shows you its not all doom and gloom. i cant for the life of me figure out why the seller listed this. and i dont want to make them feel dumb saying it works fine. also im knocking on wood it doesnt just poo out on me. but yeah this is the best balck friday deal/holiday gift/ whatever i could have asked for.
i am leary about registering it tho lol they say when its too good to be true .... but maybe they didnt realize there was a on switch? maybe they got it 2nd hand and used the wrong dc plug? what do you think?
