For my 21st birthday (Nov 1) me and my buddy made some infused honey with his magic butter maker. We made coconut oil and butter plenty of times and did a quick read about it, we had a 32oz bottle of raw honey and used about 40 grams of high quality shake, decarbed it, threw the honey and shake in the butter maker at 130f for and hour and then strained. And I mean I strained lol, fulled force and squeezed the shit out of it into a small bowl, and then into the final jar Iām storing it in. Like I said we started with 32 oz of honey and after infusing it we had a little over 16oz, Is this a normal amount of loss? Any tips on how we could do better next time? We plan on using a press to extract as much as possible next time and using cheesecloth instead of the filter bag that comes with the machine
