I went to the Battle flag ceremony at the capitol today.

Replica battle flags of Michigan during the civil war where replaced to the Capitol after construction. Descendents of veterans that fought in the civil war bore the banner and brought them in. It was a great event I hope my descendents get to see such a event in 100 something years from now. There was not a large crowd but thanks to those loyal Michiganders that showed up.
