“Merit raise?” Rant…

So a month ago our store manager said to us individually we all got a pay raise that would go into effect on October 7th and we would see the new pay rate reflected on our check officially October 20th (today). Myself and everyone in our store are checking the online pay stub and the pay is not adjusted.
Anyone else see the same thing? I’m about to start cracking heads. My manager is a skeez wretch of a nasty human.
Maybe we should start unionizing…
