Hi everyone. I just thought I would make this friendly post to let you all know that the official Michael Jackson YouTube channel have updated the Thriller music video to the 4K version and it looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL! This is the same version that was released in IMAX theatres in front of the film "The House with a Clock in its Walls" with Jack Black and Cate Blanchett back in 2018, but I am assuming that most of you did not get a chance to go see that, much less in IMAX.

But the day has FINALLY come. I have wanted to see the 4K version of the undisputed BEST music video of ALL TIME, but I never thought that it would actually see the light of day, until I realized that we just celebrated the 40th anniversary of the song/music video last weekend.

And so tonight as I was just randomly scrolling through YouTube as I do every day, the video popped up. But in the title in brackets it said "(Official 4K Video)".

I watched it from start to finish and it was every bit as stunningly gorgeous as I imagined it would be. The graveyard scene is so clear, you can literally read the names, birth dates and death dates on the tombstones. Try reading those on the original VHS quality version. Good luck with that.
