Hello all, something tells me that no one has tried this, and I know have made posts asking about various things (which I am sorry for doing), but it can't hurt to ask.

The NC Miata did not come with auto headlights or windshield wipers. I know that some models of the 3, CX-7, CX-9 and maybe the 6 come with this feature standard by virtue of the rain sensor (which is on the rear view mirror). I believe these models have a fuse dedicated to this feature (though I may be wrong). I was wondering if it would be possible to get the mirror out of one of these cars AND the fuse box, while still having everything working. If any of you have attempted this, please let me know. If there are any implications on whether the electrics will work as intended, please let me know. One day, I will compiie information on the fuse boxes for some of these vehicles to see how if this could be done (at least in theory). I just wanted to get the ball rolling on this sort of discussion.

P.S., I am 100% aware of using the RX-8 intermittent wiper stalk so there is no need to mention that (in fact, it is a mod I will likely do to my Miata one of these days).
