I know the title might be confusing so let me explain. I am interested in putting an NC2 rear bumper (and the tail lights on my NC1) in the near future. I have read that people have had to solder wires because while a US Spec NC1 has the rear deflectors on the bumpers, the NC2 and NC3 models have them within the tail lights. Some people have said that due to the lack of connections by the tail light assembly, they had to solder wires to get the rear deflectors working. However, since the USDM Miata has rear deflectors already, would it be possible for me to just move the connector from the nc1 bumper up towards the tail lights to save myself the trouble of soldering wires? Please let me know if any of you have done this and if any extra parts were needed.
