Has anyone ever removed the seat lift mechanism from a height adjustable seat?
Post Body

Here is the link to a post I made on the Miata subreddit (will have more information):
https://www.reddit.com/r/Miata/comments/1enhgvq/has_anyone_tried_removing_the_height_adjustment/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

EDIT: From what I can gather, the seat adjusters have part numbers:

NH01-88-H50B appears to be the part of the seat adjuster with the height adjustment. Do the fixed seats have a different Adjuster Unit or does it not have this part altogether. I see that the passenger seat has an Adjustment Unit Part, but it is clearly smaller than the part number at the top of this paragraph. I think the unit for the non-height adjustable seat is NE51-88-A50, but I am not 100% sure. I will update this again if I turn out to be wrong.
