After driving a "fast" car, does the Miata feel too slow?

My first car was a 1990 Miata, and I loved that car so much and wanted to get another one. But since the first Miata, I've been driving an e90 BMW 335xi. I've lusted for the handling and driving characteristics of a Miata since then but I love the speed of my BMW. Has anyone found the Miata too slow after driving a faster car since?

My F150 is fast compared to my NB.
If I wanted a fast car, I wouldn’t have bought a Miata.

Yes. You feel like Aytron Senna banging through the gears at Monaco in 1988 but in reality you just got passed by a soccer mom in a Honda minivan.
It’s a total riot.
