I bought my '94 NA from a used lot in 2014 for $3,000. It had more than 125,000 miles and a slew of minor cosmetic and electrical issues.
Even so, I drove the crap out of that happy little car.
Years later, I modernized -- buying a lightly used ND GT. It's a a fantastic car that does exactly what it is meant to do.
The ND is, by every objective measure, a significantly better vehicle.
But there are some days I miss that beat up NA. It was bouncy, a little tail-happy and loved to have the piss revved out of it.
Plus... Pop-up headlights!
