Hi everyone! I just had my battery replaced and the car either starts fine or not at all. It wasn’t having issues before the battery swap, aside from looking like a dying battery. It’s able to be jumped, the mechanic said it’s not the alternator, but he can’t test the starter unless I leave it over night. When I had to get the car jumped (I’m new to car life and haven’t learned to do it myself yet), the tech pointed to a knob on the right terminal and I have no idea what that is, but it’s placement seemed to effect whether he could jump the car. Any idea what’s going on?
