What are the good tour companies, day tour options, websites for learning more (especially if I'm flying solo)

Post Body

34M from USA.Will be in CDMX for 9 days in November. I'll be alone. My Spanish is pretty bad. I can understand a decent amount but can't really speak back.

I don't mind wandering foreign cities solo and winging it. In fact, I love to do that and plan to spend a lot of my time unstructured.

But I would love to do some of the touristy things like Xochimilco, Teotihuacan, Chapultapec, some museums, even some neighborhood architecture/food walking tours with a group. Ideally english speaking tour guide. But it would be fun to meet some other people because I'm sure 9 days on my own and eating every meal alone will get lonely. (I'm an architecture tour guide at home so I'm very used to giving tours myself).

I've been lurking on this sub for many weeks but haven't seen much. Are the suggestions/links through TripAdvisor and Viator decent? Is there another company or website or option you'd recommend? Anyone you've had good luck with? Any to avoid?
