Edit: Thanks all for your help. I've got a few local places I'm in touch with that have a variety of capability, I'm sure one of them will pan out.
Hello,
I'm working with #projectopenair, along with 12,000 others internationally to build improvised PPE and ventilators if supply chains can not meet the coming demand.
There is a 1965 army design for a respirator that is very robust, easy to make and meets immediate need. It works on a simple but very finicky concept called a "fluid amplifier". Unfortunately no detailed drawings have been found yet, but we did find one of these which will soon be in the hands of a fellow in the bay area - we need it measured so we can post the dimensions and start prototyping.
Is there anyone in the Bay Area who can offer up CMM time to measure this part and put together a CAD model/drawings for it?
