So I just called a corporate store, they say an iPhone 11 goes for 140 tax out of the door.
They claim monthly charge is 70 because of insurance, also 21 bucks for activation fee. The 49 dollar deal becomes 49 70 21 = 140 tax.
Isn't it illegal and against policy to require the insurance for activations? How is this still an issue EVEN in the corporate stores? (I called a corp store; and they simply hung up after I asked them, isn't it against MetroPCS policy to add insurance.) MetroPCS is such a scam; how is it possible that in 2022 they still only sell things only through the stores? Why is this the only carrier where nothing can be purchased on the website?
because you look embarrassing especially when you say out loud you were trying to scam Metro out of an iPhone 11, but that's not even the embarrassing part.. the embarrassing part is anyone with cell savvy for trade ins would be able to acquire an 11 or whatever necessary for way cheaper than that literally by a simple google search even if there were no added features through Metro.
All around -10/10 post and thought process.
edit: you're a mod for cricket wireless sub and clearly don't even know the wireless industry works. top kek
So then instead of complaining, switch to cricket.
Don't like sales? Go to a different store. T-Mobile will never have a class action towards them for this. It has been a thing for years whether you want to argue pre paid vs post paid. It happens, it will happen, and all you can do as the consumer is find the lesser evil you're content with.
Don't like an offer? Well, it's sales and there is a different store with different employees. It's the reps job to sell for T-Mobile, not to actually help you.

You are not entitled to their service or their promotions. No one has to actually sell you anything. You could walk into the store and they don't like the color of your shirt and lie about not having the phone in stock. You are never going to win this argument or position, especially not with me here.
I never ban people, but you are clearly uneducated about the wireless industry as a whole and within the pre-paid side. You are arguing with everyone here when everyone is essentially saying the same thing. Some of these people have been around this sub and industry for years, yet you want to tell them how it works?
The ban stick has now been waved. Good day.
