Should I buy an iPhone 14 Pro from T-Mobile or Metro?

So I'm looking to upgrade my iPhone 11 to a 14 Pro / Pro Max. Would it be better to buy from T-Mobile and get it activated at metro? Also would they honor the trade-in for my old iPhone even if I'm not a T-Mobile user?
