Five asteroids are expected to pass close to Earth on Thursday and Friday next week. The website for the Channel Nine TV network in Australia describes their size in metres and makes comparisons of their size to familiar things such as a house or a delivery truck. No mention of whales, giraffes or kangaroos.
The one error I noticed was that they described one of the meteors asteroids as a comet. Well, you can't win them all.
EDIT: I wrote "meteor" when I should have written "asteroid". Corrected. They may become meteors next week, if we are unlucky.
