What should i prepare for if i’m going to be tapering at home?
Post Body

So i’m currently tapering down 1mg per week and i’ve made it from 65mg down to 17mg. I haven’t felt any withdrawals at all really except maybe in the morning i get hot flashes and prickly skin a bit sooner than i usually would have when i was at my highest. I was just wondering if i should be preparing myself for any horrible withdrawals or like asking my doctor for certain prescriptions or getting any kind of OTC meds? Im new to this and was wondering if anyone had any advice. thank you for your time. :)

UPDATE Im at 16mg but have slowed down to 1mg every 2 weeks, i have noticed i’m less constipated, but thats the only ‘good’ side effect i have. lol haven’t been sleeping as good, but it’s not horrible and i’ve been taking ZzzQuil every now and then. also have started taking a multivitamin and that’s helped with sweating . :)

UPDATE #2 the past 4 days i’ve been super nauseous all of the sudden, and have been almost puking but nothing would come out (dry heaving) yesterday i actually did puke for the first time in like 2 years. i got prescribed vitamin B6 to help which is usually prescribed for morning sickness but it’s helped tremendously. i’ve paused my taper for a week, and have also changed my diet to a very healthy one. (no processed foods, soda, sugar, and also cut back on salt.) hopefully this will help.
