my boyfriend and i have been going to the same clinic for 4 years. have been totally clean for the whole time except for the first 5 or so months. basically my boyfriend got a false positive for morphine the first time, (which he has never taken EVER) and he had to wait 90 days for them to give his take homes back and we even paid to get it retested but it just came back the same. this was about 10 months ago. now just a week ago he got another false positive (for opiates according to our new counselor but for creatinine levels according to the person in charge of UAs). we wanted to get it retested but the counselor we’ve had for the past 6 months left unexpectedly and didn’t tell us about it in time, so we can’t even retest it. of course our new counselor is a prick and doesn’t believe anything we say and is trying to get him to go to group now and wants to take away his take homes. i know for a fact that he hasn’t done any drugs because i’m with him 24/7, he doesn’t have a job so he has no money anyways, and he can’t drive because he doesn’t have a license, so anywhere we go, i drive. i just want to know if there is anything we can do to fight this. we are also tapering at the moment and don’t want this to affect that, we have never even missed a day and have been model clients.
PS we asked the person who does the UAs about it and she said it wasn’t an actual positive but something having to do with creatinine levels but since we were never told about it when it first came back, it’s too late to retest now.
EDIT : he did NOT use behind my back. I know that for a fact. please do not give any replies assuming so.
