Hey Everyone..I'm someone who has been on methadone for 13 years. I started on 100 mg for 6 months and 2009 then I dropped to 95 then eventually 80.. I stayed on 80 mg for 9 years then for the past 4 years I've dropped from 80 down to where I am now at 17.5 and I feel perfectly fine except a little bit of sleep problems.. no physical withdrawal Anyone experience getting the slow and feel this good because I'm wondering when I'm going to start feeling withdrawal or maybe I'm going slow enough that I'm going to succeed and get off of this shit?
I take the tablets so I have 10 mg pills that I'm breaking and using a nail file eventually once I get to 10 mg I was going to take a nail file and just file off a couple passes each day until the pill gets smaller and smaller.,. I'm trying to do it faster not fast but faster than my clinic is allowing me to because I cannot afford it anymore and I am mentally and spiritually no longer in danger of using it's been so long I just don't want to be a slave to this stuff anymore I have a full-time life and relationship.
How successful do you think I will be since I'm already this low?
