So, my buddy has been using Fentanyl heavily until money got tight but still $40-80/day. Suboxone gives him a headache. He was clean for 4 years n blew through 60k in 3 months. Now he's using much less. Does anyone have experience using methadone as short term detox tool. After that if he's still craving he would probably take Kratom. He Def doesn't want to join a clinic. But he wouldn't mind taking methadone for a few weeks n tapering down. Anyone had success with this or have advice? I've tried to get him to just join a clinic n stay on small dose. I'm on 200mg n he sees my fatigue so he doesn't want to take long-term. But if there's a 2 week or less detox program he would consider........Thanks.
