Recently I’ve been playing a lot of the more experimental, produced metal with some deep growls like Carcosa, Darko US, etc. (I’ve also been really feeling the new Norma Jean album a lot) but I find myself more and more craving the higher end of the scream spectrum. It started with having Knocked Loose on repeat and evolved from there to getting Jane Doe back in the rotation and so on, but, I’m kinda running out of bands I know that so it well, also because I’m terrible at finding and/or keeping up with new music. Most of it I stumble across by accident through the algorithm of Spotify or YouTube, so I was hoping you all could throw me a bone and suggest some bands to check out? Anything in a similar vein to anything I’ve named above is welcome, or just some new metal worth checking out in general, like I said I’m constantly behind on things (I’ll always appreciate someone rocking me djent-ly). A point in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
