So, will "Spit out the bone" become another forgotten track or will they bring it back next tour?
Post Body

They played it during the Hardwired tour.

Then, after that, they had a South American tour, and the last time they played it live was in Sao Paulo, 2022 May 10th

Since then...nothing for the M72 tour

Will this become one of those songs that are only played during the album's tour and then forgotten in the years that follow?

We all know modern Metallica albums usually get 2 ( /- 1) songs per tour at best (poor St. Anger mostly 0 :( ), so it seems like the song that will enter the regular rotation from Hardwire is "Moth Into Flame", and maybe sometimes "Hardwired"

This leaves "Spit out the bone" as potentially the "third place" fan favorite to be played, but seeing as they usually play 1 song (and at very best 2) per album...it seems like it may take a while before we hear this song live again...

At least it's doing better than "Atlas, Rise!" which to my knowledge was last played in 2019 (literally 5 years ago! wow time flies)

I'm pretty sure it was Lars who said he was with his son listening to the Hardwired album for the first time, and when they got to Spit Out the Bone, Lars' son asked him, "How are you going to play that live?" It's probably just a grueling song for the guys to play.
