[EDIT] I figured it out! The burner that I was using was just poorly designed. I bought a new burner and am melting and casting about 5lbs of copper within 30 minutes!

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I just got my first foundry, tried melting copper and simply cannot and I can't seem to find an answer online so far..
I forgot the name but I have a foundry with a propane torch like one that you can find on Amazon. They're similar design (cheaper obviously) to devils forge.
Aluminum takes about 20-30 minutes to start melting, seems long but I can live with it.. my problem is I have ran it for an hour and a half and copper will not melt. It sorta melts together but I can't get it to be liquid.
I think my issue is either the air/fuel ratio or the cheap torch.
It has a 30psi pressure knob. I open it all the way and have the air flow open about half way. Flame is blue, and flames are shooting out the vent hole in the top. I just read something that you don't want the flames shooting out the top.. Is this my issue? How should I be tuning this?
