i often see metalheads say that metalcore is “not heavy and stuff like old-school thrash is real heavy shit” but like…a lot of metalcore i’ve heard sounds heavier than thrash to me? maybe im getting “heaviness” wrong but idk. ik shit like bring me the horizon obviously isn’t super heavy but still. at the end of the day idc it doesn’t really matter but im just curious
